   Preventative Measures: Spray your boots when they’re clean and dry. Use a protective spray, such as Jason Markk Repel. This will protect your boots from liquids and stains.2. Clean: Remove Marks and Revive Suede. Use a spot cleaner and brush, such as this one from Jason Markk.3. Give Them a Rest. Don’t wear the same pair of shoes everyday. Leather needs a day off here and there to breath.4. Store Them Properly. Bad for leather: direct sunlight, moisture and heat.So keep them covered, cool and dry.5. Avoid Salt. Salt is terrible for leather and should be cleaned off as soon as possible.
