This Black Selvedge denim is woven by Candiani Mills in Italy, using 100% cotton at a wearable 12.5oz. It has a firm hand at first—structured, almost crisp—but with time it softens beautifully. What makes this cloth special is its slub character, a rare quality in black denim that adds visual interest and texture the longer it’s worn.

The Ivy Fit is relaxed through the seat and thigh with a gentle taper, designed for ease and movement without losing its shape. It’s comfortable, familiar, and quietly refined. Due to the tight weave of this fabric, these jeans run a bit snug out of the gate. If you’re on the fence, we recommend sizing up one to ensure a comfortable break-in and a fit that only gets better with age.
