Crafted with a solid teak frame sourced from sustainable Indonesian wood, this chair is naturally resistant to weather, cracking, and rotting, ensuring long-lasting beauty and functionality. Its sculptural back curves and handwrapped double-layered Olefin rope detailing on the back and arms provide both aesthetic appeal and ergonomic support, creating a chair that’s as comfortable as it is visually striking.

The chair includes a quick-dry, flow-through foam seat cushion wrapped in Dacron for sink-in comfort, while the knife-edge back cushion offers additional support. Both cushions are weather-resistant, capable of withstanding mildew, fading, and stains. For enhanced longevity and protection, custom outdoor furniture covers are strongly recommended, preserving the chair’s appearance and structural integrity over time.

Milled in Italy. Though it looks and feels like indoor linen, its double-thickness basket-weave is made from 100% polypropylene, giving it sun, stain, and water resistance.

Malibu

A tonal multi-stripe outdoor fabric woven in Italy from 100% polypropylene, offering subtle depth and texture through contrast fibers within the weave. It resists sunlight, moisture, mildew, sweat, and stains

Care + Maintenance

Teak

• 
  Maintain the original quality of the teak by applying Teak Cleaner at the beginning and end of each season.


• 
  To keep the surfaces clean from dirt, mold and mildew, periodically hose with water and Teak Cleaner, scrubbing in the directions of the grain.


• 
  For stubborn areas, use a power washer to clean. Hold the power washer approximately 30” away from the furniture and do not exceed 1200 PSI. Rinse and then allow to sun dry.


• 
  Exposure to moisture over time can raise the wood grain.


• A light sanding with fine 120-grit sandpaper smooths the surface.

Upholstery and Inserts

• To prevent embedded dirt stains, use a soft-bristle brush to frequently dust and remove dirt from the fabric.

For everyday stains:

• Use a mild cleaner with warm water or Fabric Cleaner and a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly.


• Tip cushions on their sides with the zipper facing down and unzipped to ensure that all water drains.


• Once completely dry, apply cushion covers and follow our tips below to repel dirt and moisture.

For mold and mildew:

• Soak cushions in a 1:20 bleach-to-water solution, wash with diluted dishwashing liquid, and rinse thoroughly.


• Power wash at 1200 PSI only; higher pressure can damage fibers. Keep the washer about 30 inches away from the cushion.


• After washing, tip cushions on their sides with the zipper unzipped and facing down to let all water drain.

Olefin Rope

• 
  For spot cleaning: Brush off any dirt or debris with a soft bristle brush or spray off with a hose.


• 
  For a deeper cleaning: Mix warm water with a mild soap and clean with a soft bristle brush.


• 
  Do not use abrasive cleansers.


• Rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth.
