In the jewellery we call ÅLAND HEART, we have shaped a heart that encloses a piece of handpicked Åland red granite.
The red granite has been ground and polished so that the surface is shiny.
Did you know that the Åland bedrock consists mostly of red granite stone? That is why the cliffs and gravel shine red, and even the asphalt we drive on is red from the special granite.
