この干支は、障害のある人のイラストをデザインにいかしたオリジナルの郷土玩具シリーズです。2025年の干支の置き飾り「たるからみたる」のスピンオフ商品が完成しました！
桃の節句にぴったりのお内裏様とお雛様の巳さん、そしててんとう虫、ふとん、つちのこ柄をデザインした巳さんです。
日本では古来から、へびは水田を守る水の神様とされ、へび（別名で「かが」と呼ばれる）の眼（め）が鏡の語源の一つといわれています。また、鏡には神聖さが宿るとされ、樽の蓋や鏡餅を鏡を見立ててひらくことで開運を願ってきました。「たるからみたる」は、蓋をあけて頭をのぞかせるへびが、豊かさをもたらします。
