Zia Pia’s ceramic bottle is hand-painted by local artisans of the Puglia region of Italy, where the award-winning Frantoio Galantino olive mill is located. It is filled with their lemon-fused extra virgin olive oil, made using an ancient technique of crushing the olives and fresh lemons together without any added essences. The result is an intense, bright, and citrusy flavor, recommended for flavoring fish, seafood, soups, salads, vegetables, white meat and fine sauces.
Since 1926, the Galantino family has mastered the craft of extra virgin olive oil in Biscegie, near Bari, in Puglia. They meticulously select the finest Ogliarola and Coratina olives from their groves, hand-harvesting them traditionally and milling with granite millstones. Employing cold extraction and rigorous quality testing, Galantino produces top quality, award-winning extra virgin olive oil.
