Detailed information on SARA - HAND BLOCK-PRINTED LINEN PILLOW (YAM) 18x18\"

Introducing Soil to Studio\'s latest collection of hand block-printed pillows & table linens - The Thar Edit. Inspired by the warm hues of the Great Indian desert, the collection aims to bring the same warm tones to your home.

  • Linen

  • Block-printed on both sides

  • Gentle cold machine wash with mild detergent recommended. Air dry, do not soak or bleach.

  • They are made entirely by hand; subtle nuances are part of the charm

  • Designed in New York, Made in India

Delicately block-printed by a small cooperative run by master block-printers, in a small village near Jaipur. They are passionate about their craft and say ‘no’ to higher paying factory jobs because this is what they identify themselves with – \"craft\", which their fathers and grandfathers mastered and passed it down to them. What seems like a simple stamping process, requires incredible skill, practice and a very steady hand. We love and support block printed fabrics which tell a story of craftsmanship, human touch, and of the people and families behind the craft. By choosing this handmade piece, you help preserve craftsmanship and support rural artisan communities.
