This vintage amber glass bowl was produced by Anchor Hocking as part of their Renaissance line, often referred to as the Beaded Leaf or floral pattern. The sculptural form features softly scalloped edges and raised leaf motifs with intricate beading — details that give the piece depth, texture, and movement when light passes through the glass.
Anchor Hocking, founded in Ohio in the early 20th century, became one of America’s most beloved glass manufacturers, known for creating decorative yet accessible tableware for everyday homes. The Renaissance pattern reflects mid-century design sensibilities — organic, expressive, and rich in color. Amber glass, in particular, gained popularity for its warmth and ability to enhance candlelight, making pieces like this both functional and atmospheric.
Originally designed as a serving or centerpiece bowl, this vessel has been thoughtfully repurposed into a candle, allowing its translucent amber tone to glow from within. When lit, the glass deepens to a warm honeyed bronze, highlighting the beaded leaf texture and casting a soft, golden radiance.
The vessel has been filled with 18.55 oz of all-natural soy wax and features multiple wicks for an even, luminous burn.
Approximately 7.5\" wide × 3.25\" tall
The fragrance is bright and tropical — juicy pineapple and orange open into ripe mango and peach, settling into a creamy base of coconut milk and soft sugar. It’s warm, sunlit, and gently sweet, pairing beautifully with the amber glass and enhancing its golden glow.
