HOT ! Georg Bar Stool

The Georg range of furniture from Fritz Hansen was launched in 2013 to represent the modern Scandinavian character in its most simple and beautiful form. It is a collection designed not to date with fashion but to remain timeless and gain individual distinction as it ages.

With a classic mix of oak, raw leather and mottled wool the Georg bar stool exudes discreet sophistication. Its style is minimal modern elegance - the way all good and true Scandinavian design should be.

The seat cushion simply attaches to the bar stool where the leather bands wrap around the seat to secure the cushion in place. Constructed from natural wool the cushion has inherent unrefined oils to prevent any permanent marks and can be simply cared for with a soft sponge, soap and water. The legs are solid turned oak with a soft curved end where it meets the ground. Likewise the solid oak seat has very soft edges and corners. The frame of the barstool has a stabilising metal H in its construction that also serves as a footrest.

Finished in either a light clear lacquer (for a natural oak colour) or a stylish black lacquer, the Georg bar stool pairs perfectly with a contemporary interior.

Designed by the Danish/Swedish designer Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm, the Georg series comprises of a console table, bench, stool, wardrobe hanger, clothes hangers on a leather string and a mirror.
