HOT ! MARSHMALLO • pillow

This trio was inspired by one of my first weavings, and brings so much light into any room. Imagine them as a decorative set on your bed, or as the favorite couch pillow that you reach for at the end of a long day. My aim was to make the perfect snuggle pillow, and I dare say I hit the mark!

Each pillow has a unique design, but they all come from the same cloth and naturally speak to each other. I wove these by hand on my 1970s floor loom, with a premium cotton warp, and for the weft, my favorite plush slub yarn, Mallo - which truly lives up to its namesake. The third pillow option features eri silk roving. I washed and hemmed each piece by hand, and hand sewed them to a backing of natural muslin. Then I stuffed them to the brim with plush pillow foam. Not only do they look like marshmallows, they feel like them too!

Several hours over several days went into the process of making these entirely by hand. They measure 15x24\" and should be spot cleaned. Sold individually.
