The company is rooted in their family’s legacy, resulting from their father’s 40-year passion and expertise in leather craftsmanship in Jalandhar, India. Riddhima and Saloni are proud to continue his legacy — but with a renewed vision that blends heritage with sustainability. 

That’s why all of Risa’s leather is upcycled-- sourced from leftover hides that would otherwise be discarded by larger brands and destined for landfills. Once selected, the leather travels to small-batch workshops in Delhi, where each handbag is lovingly handcrafted by skilled women artisans. These incredible women are not only preserving the art of traditional leather craftsmanship but are also supporting their families and communities through their work. In choosing Risa, you’re not just embracing style — you’re supporting a movement toward mindful making.
