Product Care

Ready to wear...

These shawls are washed using gentle products suitable for sensitive skin and are ready for immediate use.

Hand wash with a wool-approved detergent like Woolskin Woolwash. Rinse and allow the baby shawl to dry naturally away from direct heat.

Due to the nature of our traditionally hand-finished baby shawls, knitted using the finest natural yarns, please hand-wash them in water up to 30°C. 

Dry flat, away from direct sunlight and heat. Never tumble-dry. 

Note that the scalloped edges will naturally relax after washing. This is normal and does not detract from the quality of the product. 

For a perfect finish - for those with some meditative time on their hands - gently pin out the scalloped edges, cover the shawl with a cloth and press with a cool iron.
