HOT ! KUURA 2024 \'Shanshui\' Raw Pu\'er

‘Shanshui’ is the 2024 rendition of our affordable flagship raw puerh tea. A blend of several excellent materials from across Southern Yunnan that we’ve been refining since we started, designed for no-compromise raw puerh with power, sweetness, longevity, and ability to age. The kind of tea that we reach for almost daily; there’s a strong fruity punch, well-balanced bitterness with returning sweetness to follow, and lingering fragrance. Thick body, with enough astringency for some backbone and still pleasant to drink without having to age it 20 years first. Although if you can keep your tongue off it, it will age into leatherwood honey; sweet with a nice fragrant kick.

A representation of the incredible value Yunnan has to offer; all the material is from trees growing unmanaged in lush tropical forest, with more age on them then you might expect at this price point.

200g per compressed cake, with 5 cakes per traditionally wrapped bamboo tong. 25g samples are cut or broken from the cakes and sealed into bags.
