The leaves of jiao gu lan (pronouncd gee-ow-goo-lan), a gourd-like plant that grows wild in southern China, have been traditionally used to make medicine, which is used in similar applications as ginseng. Brewing Recommendation:

1. bring 8 oz. water to a boil

2. Add steaming (195 degree F) water to 1 tbsp. of tea

3. Allow elixir to steep 1 minute.

Each tbsp. of tea may be used for multiple infusions.
