• A HIMALAYAN TREASURE - This select loose-leaf black tea is harvested during the summer weeks of June-July and perfectly processed by experienced tea makers to bring forth a color cup of a typical muscatel flavor Darjeeling Black Tea. It is 100% Darjeeling Long-leaf tea sourced directly from Makaibari.


• TASTING NOTES - Muscatel fruity top notes of raisins and berries with a lingering finish of a good Darjeeling Tea produced in summer months. The best brewing time for this tea is 4 mins which will enable the liquor to express its balanced profile of rich amber brightness with a smooth mouthfeel.


• USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC TEA - Makaibari Tea Estates is free from pesticides, toxins, and chemicals. Tea is revered as a medicinal herb in the Himalayas, surrounded by natural forests and clouds. The mulch used is completely natural, formulated with what is available at the estate, to not upset the delicate balance of the permaculture system.


• TRY OUR MOON TEAS - Plucked to the celestial rhythms of the stars, moon & planets our teas are harvested in sync with lunar cycles


• STEEP THE PERFECT CUP - Place 2gm / 1 TSP tea leaves in a cup, tea infuser or strainer and pour hot water over the leaves. Steep for 4 minutes. Best enjoyed plain without adding milk or sugar.
