This medium baked, Wuyi oolong tea comes from Wuyishan, Fujian Province, China. The cultivar is a cross of Shui Xian, giving nutty, floral flavors, and Rougui offering a touch of sweet cinnamon. This excellent selection is perfect to show off to all levels of tea drinkers.
The name Sacred Lily (Shui Xian) comes from the aromatic similarities between the cultivar and the daffodil of the same name. This cultivar is widely propagated through out south east China and can be found in some of the Dancong Oolongs from Phoenix Mountain, such as our Honey Orchid (Mi Lan Xiang). This style is known to be fragrant, and flavorful.
A golden liquor is introduced by sweet, floral aromas. The flavor is nutty and sweet, with a delicate finish. Top notes of sweet honey lead to midtones of rich cashew, with a light touch of malt at the end.
