The MR Adjustable Chaise Lounge was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1927 as part of the MR Collection, one of his earliest explorations of tubular steel furniture.

Influenced by Marcel Breuer’s innovations and 19th-century iron rocking chairs, the MR Chaise combines a seamless tubular steel frame with an adjustable hook-and-knob mechanism for customizable comfort. Its channel-quilted mattress and strap support balances elegance and functionality.
