This honeycomb pendant is fumed with 99.99% pure silver, deeply encased in clear borosilicate glass. To create it, a clear glass tube is flared open, then exposed to vaporized silver from a small ball of metal in the torch flame. The silver bonds to the hot glass, forming ghostly blues, golds, and purples inside the clear surface. The tube is then sealed and inflated into a thin, hollow bubble.

From there, dozens of clear dots are applied in a honeycomb pattern, drawing the fumed colors inward like a vortex. The bubble is collapsed and melted into a solid lens, preserving the dots. The back is coated in sparkled black to enhance the depth and reveal the full iridescent rainbow from within.
