HOT ! Birthstone Flower Necklace - June / Pearl

Pearl, the birthstone for June, symbolises purity, modesty and wisdom. It is associated with the Moon, Venus and femininity.

Unlike most gemstones which are minerals, pearls are organic material formed within the softer tissue of a living shelled mollusc.

The birthstone flower necklace is inspired by the forget me not flower, which symbolises remembrance, good memories and true love.

Pearl Care and Cleaning

The best way to clean pearl jewellery is using a very soft dry cloth to gently wipe down pearls. For thorough cleaning, dampen a soft cloth in  lukewarm soapy water, and gently wipe down the pearls. Dry thoroughly with a clean soft cloth.

To remove tarnishing from silver, use a silver cloth.

Avoid using commercial jewellery cleaner, silver dip or any harsh detergents.

Do not wear pearl jewellery in shower or pool, as it can damage the pearl and weaken the glue. Unlike other gemstones, pearls cannot be set in metal, and glued in.
