A Chinese Qing Dynasty period lacquered bookcase from the 19th century, with four shelves, straight legs, carved apron and weathered patina. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this large bookcase features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a dark and nicely weathered patina. The bookcase features an open façade made of four shelves resting on four straight legs. A simply carved apron decorates the front lower section.
The ensemble is raised on four straight legs. The sides and back are made of divided recessed panels. With its clean lines and distressed patina, this Chinese Qing Dynasty period lacquered bookcase from the 19th century will make for an understated yet elegant addition to any home, particularly placed in a living room or study.
