HOT ! re-ply Stacking Brick Stool

Following the Covid-19 pandemic and #BLM protests in June 2020, most NYC businesses barricaded their shopfronts with plywood. This material was destined for landfill once it had served its temporary purpose. With a mission to find a second use for the plywood, re-ply’s initiative was to create a cost-effective and recycled ‘kit-of-parts’ for restaurant outdoor dining, to assist NYC’s cherished restaurants, cafés and bars to safely reopen.

Since 2020, we\'ve been working closely with some of the best restaurants in NYC to iterate and refine our products. Our Brick stool was our original product, and has become an icon of the pandemic era in New York.

Stools are supplied flat-packed, with simple Allen key assembly. Corner cutouts on the top face allow for benches to be stacked vertically above each other. Double and triple bricks are available on request for a greater range of stacking options.

100% Recycled HDPE Plastic made with post-consumer and post-industrial waste. For interior use, but available in the USA and Australia on request with exterior UV additives.

Recycled Plywood

Up-cycled plywood salvaged from the NYC BLM Protests in 2020. With a clear finish, intended for indoor use. Graffiti / Markings on ply will be random unless specified.

New Plywood

BB Grade Baltic Birch Plywood. Clear finished for indoor use.
