The black lacquer version of our small kang cabinet oozes oriental style. Small, low cabinets like this were used throughout the colder Chinese provinces where they would be placed on the \'kang\' - the raised platform that was heated from below and which formed the main living space in a Chinese home. It has the same simplistic, balanced design of our double sided cabinet in the same range, there is a removable shelf inside each section offering space for DVDs and videos.
