Detailed information on Genuine Navajo Turquoise and Oyster Shell Multi-Stone Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet NX11918

MATERIALS: Sterling Silver, Real Turquoise & Orange Oyster Shell Stones

MEASUREMENTS:The inner bracelet circumference measures approximately 5-7/8\", plus a 1-1/2\" opening, 2-1/8\" at widest point.DESCRIPTION:

This beautiful Navajo handcrafted cuff bracelet features a bold design handcrafted by Navajo artist Victor Begay combining genuine Turquoise and orange Oyster shell stones set in solid sterling silver. The large turquoise centerpiece is framed by THIRTEEN vibrant Oyster Shell stones, each set in smooth bezels and surrounded by traditional Navajo silverwork.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

Oyster shells are said to represent protection, abundance, and fertility. In many spiritual traditions, they symbolize the power of creation. The spiral pattern is often associated with growth, renewal, and cycles of life. Some believe these pieces to have a pure calming power, while others believe that they bring a sense of awareness and understanding.
