Canning fruits and vegetables easily and safely is easier with the Essentials Canning Kit. This three-piece kit includes a beautiful, 18-quart, flat-bottomed, porcelain enamel canning pot. While it\'s designed for blanching vegetables and water bath canning, we\'ve also used it for serving large groups—and even for seafood cookouts. The kit also includes a canning rack for inserting or removing jars in hot water. Its unique folding design lets you lift and support the jars on the canner\'s edge—and its long handles offer protection from hot water. The rack holds up to seven quart or pint jars. Also included in the kit is a canning lid rack that holds up to a dozen regular or wide-mouthed canning lids. It\'s great for washing the lids.
